SS Gallic (1918)
edit- ...
that despite the superstition it is bad luck to change a ship's name, the cargo vessel SS Gallic had her name changed seven times during her 37 years in service?
- ALT1:... that the SS Gallic was the last surviving cargo vessel of the White Star Line when she was scrapped in 1956?

- Article is new enough and long enough. Portions of the hook fact confirmed by refs 1 and 3. Portion also based on ref 2 which appears to be off-line, and as to that portion, I assume good faith. Copyvio check reports no violations detected. No QPQ required. Looks ok. Verification applies to the original hook only, which I find much hookier. Cbl62 (talk) 05:00, 14 July 2013 (UTC)
