Santa Claus (steamboat)
- ... that New Yorkers could at one time rely on thrice-weekly visits from Santa Claus—though not over Christmas?

- Comment: Please note that this is a submission for the Christmas Day special occasion set,
where it might also suit as the set quirky.BTW, the hook fact about the steamer not being used over Christmas can be found at the end of the "Design and construction" section, while for the "thrice weekly" fact the section which follows it should suffice.

- If you want to be pedantic about it, then strictly speaking the name should be italicized, but we typically waive strict formatting conventions for April Fools and for the occasional quirky where use of the convention would tend to spoil the hook impact, and this is an example of the latter IMO. ...Looks good, maybe check class and sort some disambig. links. Well referenced to sources I can't see. Reads well. Hook is in article and followed by inline citation and is clear with help of referenced footnotes. For Christmas day would be good. Ping when QPQ provided and I'll tick it. ... Great...QPQ provided...thank you for sorting it all promptly. Very enjoyable read. The class thing was the edit I did on the talk page. It's okay. I don't know how it gets to appear on Christmas. Let me know if I have to do anything further. Whispyhistory (talk) 09:13, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
