Schmücke dich, o liebe Seele, BWV 180
edit- ... that the opening chorus of Bach's cantata Schmücke dich, o liebe Seele, BWV 180, has been regarded as "perfectly tailored to the idea of the soul dressing itself up in all its wedding finery"?

- Comment: Bach cantata for Trinity 20, 6 November 2011, to appear between 5 November and 11 November. The quote kind of translates the title and gives the theme of the cantata. It's so well phrased that I hesitate to shorten it. I looked for a picture of a Baroque bride dressing up, but didn't find a suitable one yet, ideas welcome.
