Small-town opera house
- ... that as of 2018, the opera house in Harrington, Washington – which opened in 1904 – had never held an opera? Source: https://www.krem.com/article/news/local/lincoln-county/small-town-opera-house-survives-over-100-yearsbut-its-never-had-an-opera/293-559815184
Created by Chetsford (talk). Self-nominated at 04:08, 1 September 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Small-town opera house; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- Article was nominated on the same day of creation, so is new enough. At around 2000 characters, it is long enough. The article reads neutrally with proper in-line citations. The hook is short enough, interesting, and is cited in-line. The QPQ is done and there is no image to review. Looks good to go! SilverserenC 19:25, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Chetsford and Silver seren: The "never" claim in the hook is supported by what appears to be a local tv station (KREM-TV). May be good to search out another source to support the local. I have no reason to doubt the TV station's claim, but others may. I will promote the hook. Lightburst (talk) 14:40, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
