- @Bermicourt: Can a better hook be proposed here? It doesn't really seem interesting to be honest; isn't it supposed to be a given that games are to be considered "entertaining for a larger group"? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 10:53, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
- There's not much to go on in the literature. The point being made by Grupp is that most card games are for 2-4 players, but this one works best with 5 or more. Anyway, how about these:
- ALT1: ... that Solo 66 is a German trick-taking card game for 5 players in which a soloist always plays against the other four? Source: "Ein Stichspiel… Es spielt immer einer allein - solo - gegen die vier anderen." in Claus D. Grupp: Kartenspiele. Falken-Verlag Erich Sicker, Wiesbaden 1975; pp. 63–64. ISBN 3-8068-2001-5
ALT2: ... that Solo 66 is a German trick-taking card game for 5 players that is played with a Skat pack of 32 French-suited cards?Bermicourt (talk) 18:28, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
I think simpler is really better here. Here's my suggestion: Flibirigit (talk) 03:26, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
ALT3: ... that Solo 66 is a German card game based on French playing cards cards?- @Flibirigit:. Generally I agree that simpler is better, but in this case there are lots of German games played with French cards. The unusual feature of Solo 66 is that there are 5 players and one takes on the other four. That's fairly uncommon. In fact I can't think of another game in which that is the case. Bermicourt (talk) 13:13, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
- Is there anyway to work that unusual feature into the article with a citation? Flibirigit (talk) 13:27, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
- @Flibirigit:. I've reworded the lede to make this clearer and cited the actual wording in Grupp at ALT1 above. Bermicourt (talk) 21:39, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
- Change noted. I will go ahead with a proper nomination review. Flibirigit (talk) 18:10, 12 November 2018 (UTC)

Overall: Article moved to mainspace on October 8th, and was partially translated from the German Wikipedia, and properly credited at Talk:Solo 66. Discussion on the hook was made above, and decision was made that ALT1 is the better choice. Flibirigit (talk) 18:25, 12 November 2018 (UTC) Flibirigit (talk) 18:25, 12 November 2018 (UTC)
