• Length, date and hook reference seem to check out well. Hook is good. How about the Ferris portrait in the article for the hook? --Bruzaholm (talk) 15:01, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

• Thank you, but there is no portrait of Ferris in the article (or indeed anywhere so far as I can find). The portrait in the article is that of a different naval officer whom Ferris served under at one time. Benea (talk) 18:35, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
