- ALT2: ... that bucking bull Spotted Demon won the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Bucking Bull of the Year award at the old age of 10 years? Source: The bull is one of the oldest PRCA Bucking Bull of the Year champions at 10 years old.[3]

Overall: I'm only approving ALT2 as the most interesting, but it needs to be directly cited right after the hook fact in the article. The fifth reference appears to be an unreliable personal website.
- Hi, SL93 I've added in citations to all 3 hooks just for the record (into the nom and the article. Hope this covers it now. The fifth reference is not a personal website. The Bucking Stock Exchange is used by thousands to sell cows. Many times, it is the only place you can get a bull's pedigree. You may still consider it is not reliable, but it's definitely not a personal site. Thanks! dawnleelynn(talk) 16:19, 5 May 2022 (UTC) SL93 (talk) 01:28, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
- dawnleelynn The Bucking Stock Exchange looks to be operated by one person named Marcia Bennett. SL93 (talk) 17:36, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
- SL93 I think it's a stretch to assume that because she's the contact on the page, she runs the whole thing by herself. But it's moot at this juncture. Is everything addressed now? Thanks! dawnleelynn(talk) 18:16, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
- dawnleelynn I don't think its moot if its used in the article. I don't think its a stretch since there is nothing verifying it either way. I tried verifying it either way, but the best that I could come up with is a private Facebook group that is linked to the website. The listing information itself comes from someone else - is the seller reliable? SL93 (talk) 18:25, 5 May 2022 (UTC)

- SL93 Sorry about that. Feel free to remove all three remaining instances of this source. I only said it was moot because I thought you were done removing it or I can do it. p.s. The only point I was making about it being a stretch was assuming the contact maintained the site by herself. Thanks.dawnleelynn(talk) 19:22, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
- dawnleelynn I can approve the nomination once the source isn't used anymore. It just seems to be the same as using an eBay listing for a reference which isn't reliable. I'm not trying to be difficult, but I don't want to be chewed out for approving a source if it can't be verified with a source to be reliable. SL93 (talk) 19:44, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
- SL93 No worries, I want to do things the right way. I removed one bucking stock exchange citation whick is all I could find. The 10 year old cite that has also always been there is "Honors" which is reliable; it's a PBR article. It has been in the template all of this time. Let's hope this is what we need now. Thanks so much! dawnleelynn(talk) 20:08, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
- dawnleelynn Thank you. This is approved. SL93 (talk) 20:14, 5 May 2022 (UTC)

@Dawnleelynn and SL93: I was going to promote ALT2, per the discussion above but I could not find in the article where it said that Spotted Demon won the Bucking Bull of the Year Award at age 10. Can someone quote where this is present in the article? Thanks. Z1720 (talk) 02:19, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- Z1720 Under the PRCA Bucking Bull of the Year section. "Spotted Demon was one of the oldest PRCA Bull of the Year champions at 10 years old." I added the word "Bucking" to the sentence to make it clearer. SL93 (talk) 11:48, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- SL93 Thanks, that should have been there all along. dawnleelynn(talk) 15:03, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
