Starbucks Red Cup
- ... that a US presidential candidate asked people to boycott a coffee chain due to their Christmas cups being red?
- ALT1: ... that the Starbucks Red Cups were not always red?
- ALT2: ... that you could order musician Taylor Swift's coffee in a Starbucks Christmas campaign?
- ALT3: ... that Starbucks have helped raise money for HIV/AIDS research through using red coffee cups at Christmas?

- Comment: A Christmas holiday hook proposal! There's probably more fun facts that could be drawn from the article for hooks, but here's four. I know there's been a lot of Taylor Swift recently so you can discount that if you want. There's a few images if a reviewer thinks it might be good to have it as an option.

Overall: Nice work, well-written article. One thing though, I'm concerned about the use of primary sources (Starbucks Stories) in this article. For example, the statement "In 2022, Starbucks held Red Cup Day on November 17..." only sourced by a primary should be removed. It gives undue prevalence to a promotion that might be otherwise small. But, secondary sources do report on it, so the primary should be replaced or supplemented by the secondary in this case. Same idea with refs 7 and 6; I would remove the statements unless you find a secondary for them. Ref 4 seems mostly OK in a WP:ABOUTSELF way, but not really in its last usage (Starbucks Peppermint Mocha drink). — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 16:28, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
- I prefer ALT1 the most. I feel like ALT0 would be better if it was less vague, like: — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 16:28, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
- ALT0b: ... that Donald Trump called for people to boycott Starbucks over their Christmas cups being red?
- I think this article could work well with an image, although I dislike both in the article (1st is distorted and messy; second has distracting bokeh and poor depth of field). I would suggest this image, this one, or this one (all cropped to the drink). — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 16:28, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
- @PerfectSoundWhatever: Thanks for the review; made some edits, added some sources. Swapped out top image and suggested it here. Tweaked alt0b a bit; I think I personally prefer alt3 but I don't mind whichever. Kingsif (talk) 02:34, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
- Still a few closely associated sources, but I think it's good enough. Thanks, approving :) — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 18:30, 17 December 2022 (UTC)
