  • New, in time, long enough, sourced, no apparent copyvios. Such an uplifting article, SounderBruce. QPQ needed, and there's a fragment ("Adding to the long list of unsuccessful births over the last three years.") that needs revision. Since it seems likely that this activity won't last for much longer (and almost certainly will end before this article sees the main page), perhaps we should wait until it is over, and then revise the hook accordingly? --Usernameunique (talk) 04:11, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Removed the fragment (a leftover from another editor's handiwork) and added an ALT1 hook that can go after the incident ends (which I suspect may be tragic). The nomination was done ASAP in order to preserve its eligibility, but isn't ideal for this kind of ongoing situation. SounderBruce 06:39, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
  • QPQ added. I'd like to see promotion wait until the incident is over. The pod hasn't been spotted since Thursday, according to today's article. SounderBruce 02:41, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
  • @Usernameunique: The incident is over and ALT1 is ready to go. SounderBruce 04:12, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
