: Referenced, hook OK, no OR, or copyvio waiting for QPQ to go further Djflem (talk) 02:21, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

@Djflem: Thanks for the initial review, I've now done the QPQ. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 08:09, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
@Mike Peel: Actually, the statement in the hook is not mentioned in the article as far as I can see (w/o a click). Djflem (talk) 09:34, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
@Djflem: I've tried to clarify it in the article. This ref in particular covers the 8 minutes, 2,356 m to 3,555 m height difference between the stations (=1,199 metres, I rounded down), and that Teide is Spain's highest peak, the rest is paraphrasing. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 12:45, 20 April 2019 (UTC)

  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but the lead is too short. It doesn't even mention the length of the cableway. It's also unclear whether there are two parts to the trip, or one. Yoninah (talk) 17:40, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: The lead is longer now, is that better? There is only one part to the trip, although two were originally conceived - unfortunately it's tricky to find a reference that states that clearly. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 19:05, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
  • @Mike Peel: thank you, that is better. I added a cite for Spain's tallest peak. But the source says it makes it to the top station in less than eight minutes. What do you think of this tweak:
  • ALT0a: ... that Teide Cableway ascends over 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) in less than eight minutes to the top of Spain's tallest mountain? Yoninah (talk) 19:36, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: I'm not convinced by "less than" - the Spanish article says 8-10 minutes, so I suspect 8 minutes is already a bit on the low side in reality. I'd prefer "in around 8 minutes", but simplified that in the nom. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 19:43, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
  • No problem. Let's go with your original hook. Restoring tick per Djflem's review. Yoninah (talk) 19:56, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
