The Haunting of Amphipolis
edit... that the Xena: Warrior Princess episode "The Haunting of Amphipolis" was changed from focusing on a murdered man and his daughter to the demon Mephistopheles at the behest of the writing staff?Source: The Official Xena: Warrior Princess Magazine. Vol. 1 no. 22)- ALT1:
... that according to Joel Metzger, besides focusing on the haunting of Xena's childhood home, "The Haunting of Amphipolis" is completely different from the original script?Source: Same source)

- Date (recent GA). All other issues checked (also by AGF GAR). Hooks are neutral and referenced in text, through ALT1 is based on lead wording, which is not directly referenced, so the the main hook is preferred. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:44, 17 April 2018 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but the hook is missing the final plot choice, that Xena's house is haunted. What do you think about this alt:
- ALT2:
... that the plot for "The Haunting of Amphipolis" episode of the Xena: Warrior Princess series morphed from a murdered man to Xena's mother trapped in Hell to Xena living in a haunted house?Yoninah (talk) 22:38, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: Uh, that's kinda wrong. The episode always focused on the haunting of Xena's childhood home. It's just that originally the episode also focused on a murdered man and his daughter, but when the script was changed, it featured Xena's mother instead. PanagiotisZois (talk) 23:54, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
- @PanagiotisZois: Fine, I understand. But I am confused by the grammar in the first hook. Should it be:
- ALT0a: ... that the script for the Xena: Warrior Princess episode "The Haunting of Amphipolis" was changed from focusing on a murdered man and his daughter to featuring the demon Mephistopheles, at the behest of the writing staff? Yoninah (talk) 19:01, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
- I guess that is more appropriate. PanagiotisZois (talk) 21:19, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
- @PanagiotisZois: should it be "starring" rather than "featuring"? Yoninah (talk) 21:21, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
- Naw. Starring would make it look like the actual demon had a starring role in the episode, rather than an actor. Besides, we don't know to what extent that murdered guy and his daughter were featured in the original script. PanagiotisZois (talk) 21:23, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
