The Wrecking Crew (music)
edit... that the Wrecking Crew supplied the instrumental tracks on dozens of hits recorded in Los Angeles during the 1960s such as "California Dreamin'" by the Mamas & the Papas, "Mr. Tambourine Man", by the Byrds, "He's a Rebel" by the Crystals, and "Good Vibrations" by the Beach Boys?- ... that the Wrecking Crew supplied the instrumental tracks on dozens of hits recorded in Los Angeles during the 1960s such as "California Dreamin'", "Mr. Tambourine Man", "He's a Rebel", and "Good Vibrations"?

- Long enough, recent GA, hook in article, partially sourced to offline sources assumed in good faith. No obvious plagiarism from the online sources I checked. I see no issues for DYK purposes. Well done.--Wehwalt (talk) 12:24, 25 September 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking the time to do the DYK review. Garagepunk66 (talk) 00:06, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry to "wreck" this, but your hook, at 279 characters, is much too long. How about ALT1? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:47, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
- ALT1 ... that the Wrecking Crew supplied the instrumental tracks on dozens of hits recorded in Los Angeles during the 1960s including "California Dreamin'", "Mr. Tambourine Man", "He's a Rebel", and "Good Vibrations"?
- Cwmhiraeth, I don't mind shortening the hook line. ALT 1 would be fine. I didn't realize the 279 characters limit. ALT1 is good solution. Garagepunk66 (talk) 00:19, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
- ALT1 sounds good to me.--Wehwalt (talk) 00:44, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
- FIXED:Good news Wehwalt and Cwmhiraeth. I have fixed the problem. I went up to the top and redacted the old hook and replaced it with ALT1. DYK ready to roll now! Garagepunk66 (talk) 00:56, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
