- Long enough, hook checks out against the reference and I would say this is actually interesting. Some stuff is cited to an offline book, so assuming that this is also ok. One minor query is that the two online sources give different dates of birth (1901/1904). The bit about his baptism isn't sourced and that could help clarify (is it in the book)? The article could also do with being added to a few more categories.
- As an addednum, I wonder whether the hook could be altered to read "that Theodore Roosevelt McElroy holds the record for the highest recorded speed" rather than "that Theodore Roosevelt McElroy set a record of the highest recorded speed", as he still holds the record. - Thanks for Review User:Number 57. Changed hook to your suggestion = better wording. Also added a few more Categories.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 21:08, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- @Doug Coldwell: Do you mean 1903 for the baptism? The article still states 1904. Number 57 21:36, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, 1903 for the baptism. In the 1930 US Census it gives his age as 29 with an "Birth Year (Estimated)-1901" and in 1940 US Census it gives his age as 39 with an "Birth Year (Estimated)-1901".--Doug Coldwell (talk) 21:42, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
