Townsend's vole

edit

5x expanded by Cwmhiraeth (talk) and 7&6=thirteen. Nominated by Cwmhiraeth at 19:36, 20 October 2014 (UTC).

  • Expanded article. New enough, long enough, 5X expansion confirmed (went from being a bare stub to a more than decent article). QPQ is confirmed. Clearly notable on this important varmint, one of the largest voles in North America. Well referenced (now) and supported by more than ample sources. Duplication and plagiarism checking reveals no copyvio or close paraphrasing. Hook and article are neutral, and interesting and referenced. Hook about the latrines in the passageways is amusing and directly and amply supported by Cornely, John E.; Verts, B. J. (27 December 1988). "Microtus townsendii" (PDF). Mammalian Species. 325. American Society of Mammalogists: 1–9. doi:10.2307/3504129. JSTOR 3504129. reference 4 (in the current iteration), which is on line and authoritative. Good to go! 7&6=thirteen () 00:28, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
  • ANOTHER REVIEWER IS REQUESTED. Can't ride 2 horses with one fanny. Don't want any question about a WP:COI. 7&6=thirteen () 18:12, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
  • Happy to take over the review. Article meets expansion and citation requirements. Hook fact is directly cited and is interesting enough to be used for a hook. Spot checks are clear - good to go. Miyagawa (talk) 19:54, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
