Transdev Melbourne
edit- ... that Transdev Melbourne will take over operation of 30% of Melbourne, Australia's bus network in August 2013?

- Major expansion checks, length checks, cites are all NOTEable. Looks good to go. However, personal comment, as someone from Canada reading this it's not clear what's really going on. Is this company taking over a particular chunk of the network? A particular group of companies? Perhaps I might suggest another para worth of explanation? - Hi, sorry for the delay, I've expanded the lead a little. Is this more inline with what you're requesting? Transdev is taking over government contracts for three 'SmartBus' routes, and operations of two bus companies (both of which operating under government contract). Sorry if that's a little confusing, but Melbourne's bus network is a little confusing, we have lots of different bus companies, operating under different levels of government contract (some can be put to tender, some can't) and this is a bundling together of the available contracts and sending them off to one bidder. - Indeed better (and was always GTG, I just forgot to add the icon). I've added some non-DYK related notes to the talk page. Maury Markowitz (talk) 13:58, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
