Tren Interurbano de Pasajeros Toluca-Valle de México

edit
  • Comment: Many of the sources on this article were in Spanish. It was difficult to search for articles in English.

  • New enough and long enough. Image properly licensed. No close paraphrasing evident (I speak Spanish). Note that some of your refs need to be more specific. For example, the Análisis Costo-Beneficio (currently footnote 4) is a 194-page PDF. No-one should have to search 194 pages to verify facts in the article. It would be much better to break this down into separate refs for individual page numbers (but won't affect me passing this dyk or not). Both hooks check out, although the first is rather dull. I'd go with ALT1. All the best, Simon Burchell (talk) 21:46, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
Thank you. To respond to your request to specify the refs, I went ahead and added individual page numbers when the Análisis Costo-Beneficio was cited. Though I had to reformat and change the structure of a paragraph, I hope it clarifies and directs readers to where the information were referenced in the article. • The Mexican name is quite long and not understandable to non-Spanish speakers. Could you write the name in English, or pipe the link with something like a planned commuter rail? I struck ALT0 because it's not very hooky. Yoninah (talk) 00:42, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
We could try something like Toluca-Mexico Commuter Rail. I based the title off of the article in Spanish. Also note there is another similarly commuter rail line that kept its title entact (Ferrocarril Suburbano de la Zona Metropolitana del Valle de México) when the article was created in English. • @FunksBrother: I'm not suggesting renaming the page, just tweaking the hook. So is this okay?
  • ALT1a: ... that the Toluca-Mexico Commuter Rail will include a tunnel underneath Sierra de las Cruces? Yoninah (talk) 00:58, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
  • Ahh, I miss interpreted. Your tweak will sound better on the front page. FunksBrother (talk) 01:03, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
  • As a specialist in Mexico topics, including two recent DYKs on federal toll highways and several other improvements in the space, ALT3 is actually pretty bog standard for a major infrastructure project. I would support the other ALT2 though (with a few changes which I've made to improve wording) — it is cited and the articles support the claims and dates. Raymie (tc) 23:52, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
  • Thank you, Raymie, for contributing your expertise. ALT2 is hooky and foreign-language ref AGF (although you've verified it in Spanish). Rest of review per Simon Burchell. ALT2 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 19:22, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
