U Bein Bridge

edit

U Bein Bridge spans Taungthaman Lake in Myanmar

  • ... that U Bein Bridge is believed to be the oldest and longest teak wood bridge in the world?

  • So glad that you wrote this article! I just visited the bridge not long ago and it was very impressive. The article is well-referenced overall, but I have reservations about the source that supports the hook fact. Allmyanmartours.com is a tour operator and does not seem to be a very reliable source. I found this and this, both from respectable newspapers. I think the less reliable source should be replaced. -Zanhe (talk) 18:30, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Significantly better sources, indeed, and thanks very much. The QPQ will be done shortly. violet/riga [talk] 18:43, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Article is new enough and long enough (a bit on the short side, but meets DYK requirement). Hook is verified with inline ref. QPQ is performed. And image is public domain. Good to go. -Zanhe (talk) 04:54, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
