Up from the Cradle of Jazz
edit- ... that Up from the Cradle of Jazz chronicles the evolution of rhythm and blues in New Orleans?
Source: "book dealing specifically with New Orleans rhythm and blues (...) basically a historical perspective (...) its attention to cultural factors that have influenced New Orleans music" linked, see page 122. Also: "show how subsequent generations of New Orleans musicians helped spark the postwar phenomena of rhythm and blues (,,,)" linked here- ALT1:... that the book Up from the Cradle of Jazz chronicles the evolution of rhythm and blues in New Orleans post-World War II? Source: see above

- Article is new, and long enough according to prosesize.js, though with over 500 bytes of quotations making up the Reception section, it would be best if more original text was added. No article issues, QPQ done. Hooks are verified, but could be more interesting IMO. For example, I think the fact that a second edition was released to address Katrina would make for a nice hook. --Paul_012 (talk) 05:51, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
- I added a paragraph diff. For the updated version I get a 1507 count using this tool excluding reception section and bulleted list, 2288 including the reception section. About a Katrina hook, I think it would take the focus away from the main subject (i.e. music history). Bammesk (talk) 02:11, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
