- Article looks good but could use a better hook and I have a question about one sentence (mentioned below.) Does the full article support this statement? I have been able to access only the abstract, which doesn't specifically mention this species at all although it does mention this genus. HouseOfChange (talk) 01:54, 30 January 2019 (UTC)

Overall: Improve hook. Also the following sentence not supported by abstract of article cited: "Each species of squid seems to host a different species of bacteria, and some squid species host multiple strains." HouseOfChange (talk) 01:54, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
- @HouseOfChange: Thank you for the review. I have changed that sentence. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:29, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
- ALT1:...that the luminous bay squid can use its light organ to imitate starlight or moonlight? "It lets out just enough light to match the background moonlight or starlight, effectively hiding it from fish predators waiting below.[1] HouseOfChange (talk) 02:01, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
- ALT1 would be fine (it's amazing what a relative of the garden snail can get up to!). Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:29, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks, @Cwmhiraeth:, GTG with ALT1 hook. HouseOfChange (talk) 12:06, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
