Vuk, Ban of Bosnia

edit
  • ... that a Wolf was placed on the throne of Bosnia in 1366 and remained the official ruler for a year?

  • This article is new enough and long enough. The article is neutral, but I could not check for close paraphrasing because the sources are offline. I don't think this nomination can be approved until there is a reference supporting the fact that "vuk" is a Serbo-Croat word meaning wolf. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:09, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
The meaning of the word vuk is not part of the hook, and the article also identifies him as "Count Wolf", so I am not sure why the nomination cannot be approved. There is also a link to the Wiktionary entry. It just ocurred to me that we also have an article about the name, fully referenced. Surtsicna (talk) 11:07, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
Agree with Surtsicna's arguments. If there are any concerns, the ref from Vuk (name) can be included in this article. The dates in the hook are sufficiently sourced. Offline sources accepted AGF. --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 15:30, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
