Comment: ALT1 is a combo hook with WTJZ. The bolding of "in Newport News" is to reduce confusion with the currently existing WACH station in South Carolina.

This is just a drive-by comment for now, but I'd suggest striking ALT1 as it's not really an interesting hook. It might be a better idea to explain why WACH went bankrupt when the TV station did, but in any case, ALT0 is probably the better option anyway. New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. Original hook is interesting, verified and cited inline.
