- ... that chief designer Wei Zhongquan was rescued by his colleagues when the Fengyun-2 (model pictured) satellite burst into flames on the eve of its scheduled launch? Source: "发射前夕，卫星突然起火燃烧，卫星毁了，魏锺铨被同事从事故现场救了出来" - "on the eve of the launch, the satellite suddenly burst into flames and was destroyed. Wei Zhongquan was rescued from the accident site by his colleagues."
