West Branch Fishing Creek
edit- ... that in September 1864, a thousand soldiers of the United States Army searched the valley of West Branch Fishing Creek for an alleged fortress manned by 500 armed deserters and draft evaders?
- ALT1:... that West Branch Fishing Creek has the highest population of wild brook trout of any major stream in the upper Fishing Creek watershed even though parts of it run dry for up to 107 days per year?

- Date and length OK. QPQ OK.
One disambig link found: "cabin" (please fix). External links OK.Re the original hook: the referenced page has links to several pages, so your reference needs to say that the reader must click to read page 56. However page 56 confirms the search for the deserters, but does not confirm the actual number of soldiers doing the searching. Please find a reference for "thousand"?Re Alt 1: this hook checks out OK. --Storye book (talk) 16:59, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

- @Storye book: I added the page number for the original hook ref and added another citation for the "thousand" claim (though it's offline). --Jakob (talk) (my editor review) 17:54, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you for the update; offline hook for "thousand" accepted IGF. Good to go, using either hook. --Storye book (talk) 18:06, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
