White House tennis court
- ... that Barack Obama celebrated his 50th birthday by playing basketball with Shane Battier, LeBron James, Magic Johnson, Maya Moore, Alonzo Mourning, Joakim Noah, Chris Paul, and Derrick Rose? Source: "In that game was LeBron James, Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Shane Battier, Alonzo Mourning and Magic Johnson came out of retirement for it. Maya Moore played in the game." - ALT1:... that President Jimmy Carter personally oversaw the playing schedule of the White House tennis court? Source: "Carter took a lot of heat for personally overseeing the court's schedule..." - really nice piece of work, new enough, long enough, well written enough. QPQ review checks out fine. I like the first hook very much, but would you consider adding which birthday of Obama on which this auspicious occasion took place? I'm also little concerned that the "playing basketball" is easter egg-ish as it links to a tennis court... I guess if a suitable re-word is too hard, I'd opt for ALT2 (with an image of Mr T perhaps if one is available?) Also, I couldn't see the suggested image of Obama in the target article, which is one of the DYK criteria. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! - Thank you for a brillint review! I've fixed the image and birthday issue. I have considered renaming the article, but I still think it is a tennis court with basketball lines. Indeed an expressly named 'tennis pavilion' was built last year. No Swan So Fine (talk) 14:06, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
