  • Article is long enough, references look good. Only suggestion is maybe having an alternative hook of:

I suggested the "driven ... to drive" hook as an attempt to satisfy the "make it snappy and persuade the reader to read more" idea (mild exaggeration for the purposes of attracting attention), but it's true that "inspired" is a bit more positive than "driven", and also, "driven" makes it makes it sound like Saudi Arabian women didn't campaign for the right to drive before the Arab Spring, which is incorrect. In that case, ALT1 is also a little misleading (though ambiguous), since the W2D movement started a decade ago (1990 - see the article), and was only revived, not started, by the Arab Spring. So i suggest either ALT2a, ALT2b, or ALT2c. ALT2c uses a driving-related term, but people who are not so familiar with English may not be familiar with it, so i think it should be wiktionaried.
My preference would be ALT2c. The topic is about car driving, and in a car-dominated historical epoch (in the rich and middle-rich countries), there are plenty of driving-related words (including figurative usages) in English. Boud (talk) 09:39, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
I agree with your reasoning. The repetition of "drive" may have been confusing using two different meanings of the word same word in one hook. However, in ALT2c it not only flows better but is also more accurate as the Arab Spring helped an already existing movement. Delsion23 (talk) 18:44, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
