This template stores the convergence criteria reference values for {{Euro convergence criteria (2016)}} so that they can be used by {{Euro convergence criteria row}} to determine if a state meets the criteria. The parameters are:

  • HICP - maximum Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices
  • DEF - maximum Government budget deficit to Gross domestic product
  • DEB - maximum debt-to-GDP ratio
  • ERM - minimum number of years as a member of the European Exchange Rate Mechanism II
  • EXCR - maximum average change in the exchange rate against the euro.
  • INT - maximum long-term interest rate
  • YC - year that the convergence evaluation is valid. used for ERM calculation.
  • MC - month that the convergence evaluation is valid. used for ERM calculation.
  • DC - day that the convergence evaluation is valid. used for ERM calculation.
