Usage

edit

When placing this template on the article pages, please use the following guidelines:

  • Please place the template after any template that is company specific. E.g. in the Burger King article the {{Burger King}} template would go first, then this one.
  • When there is another, similar template, such as {{Restaurant chains in Ireland}}, place the template that covers the country the company is based in first. E.g. in the Burger King article, this template would go first because Burger King is based in the United States.

This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.

To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:

  • {{Fast-food chains of the United States|state=collapsed}} will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.
  • {{Fast-food chains of the United States|state=expanded}} will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.
