Only the name parameter is required. All other parameters are optional and will not display if not present in the template if they do not have any value.
Parameters
edit- name
- The name of the Club
- emblem
- Drawing or photograph of the club emblem. Do not include the "Image:" prefix. If uploading a new image, please put them on Commons so they can be easily used by the other language Wikipedias. Such images will probably need to use a fair-use license with appropriate justification.
- emblem_size
- The display size (in pixels) of the emblem. Defaults to 200 if not defined.
- image
- Photograph of the clubhouse/boathouse of the club. Do not include the "Image:" prefix. If uploading a new image, please put them on Commons so they can be easily used by the other language Wikipedias.
- blade_image
- Drawing or photograph of the pattern of colours used on the blades of the club's oars. Do not include the "Image:" prefix. If uploading a new image, please put them on Commons so they can be easily used by the other language Wikipedias.
- acronym
- The acronym related to the club's name
- coordinates
- The position of the label on the pushpin map relative to the pushpin coordinate marker. Valid options are {left, right, top, bottom, none}. If this field is not specified, the default value is right.

- Date when the club was founded; use {{Start date}}
- motto
- The club motto
- former_names
- Names the club may have previously had
- home_water
- The name of water body on which the club is located/rows.
- membership
- Current number of members in the club
- key_people
- Up to four key individuals closely associated with the club. If there is more than one entry, use
{{Unbulleted list}}
to format the entries. List the figures in order of club role importance. Give role title(s) in parentheses (round brackets); these role titles use standard English casing. - Do include people even not individually notable, but do not wiki-link them.
- Use popular names rather than formal names if the key figure has an existing Wikipedia article.

- Short list of notable race wins; separate multiple entries with {{plainlist}} or {{flatlist}}. Typically should be 4 or fewer. If more details are relevant to the article, it should be included in a section of the body of the article.
- notable_members
- Short list of notable members (current or past); separate multiple entries with {{plainlist}} or {{flatlist}}
