Usage

This template outputs the latest revision date of the page that it is used on.

Principally intended for use on user pages, but can also be of some use on Wikipedia-namespace (policy, project, etc.) and portal pages. Not intended for use on articles; this template produces no output in article space.

To suppress the "Last updated:" text, use |dateonly=yes:

• {{Last updated|dateonly=yes}}

renders as:

• 2023-06-26

To link the date so that it autoformats (e.g. into International or US instead of Unix-style dates) for users with date preferences set, use |format=yes. Note that if the template is substituted, bots may remove this linking, per WP:MOSUNLINKDATES.:

• {{Last updated|format=yes}}

renders as:

• Last updated: 2023-06-26
