- Lifespans recorded in the Septuagint: Black (▄▄) and gray (▄▄)[note 1]
- Lifespans recorded in the Samaritan Pentateuch: Gold (▄▄), yellow (▄▄), and brown (▄▄)
- Lifespans recorded in the Masoretic text: Crimson (▄▄), vermilion (▄▄), and cinnabar (▄▄)
