Provides a citation for frequently-used timetables used by public transport providers in Queensland, Australia.
Usage
editThis template creates a {{cite web}} citation to individual timetables for transport providers including Translink (Queensland) and Queensland Rail.
Because the URL for these timetables can change and because there are frequent uses of the same citation for some transport services in many articles, it is more efficient to update the URL in just one place (this template).
Railway line timetables are cited in numerous articles on railway stations on that line, so generally should be in the template
Bus timetables are listed if a citation is used in one or more Railway Station or Busway station articles. This way there is only one central point to update details and dates for all such bus timetables in this template without the need to update the station articles.
Parameters
edit- There is one unnamed parameter
- Name/number of route
- route: route number for buses. May be shown as
{{Queensland Timetables|460}}
or{{Queensland Timetables|route=460}}
. Both formats will produce the same results.
The routes currently supported are named or numbered (for the purposes of use in this template):
- all railway services in South East Queensland
- Airport, Beenleigh, Caboolture, Cleveland, Doomben, Ferny Grove, Gold Coast, Inner City, Ipswich, Redcliffe, Shorncliffe, Springfield, Sunshine
- some long-distance rail services in Queensland
- bus routes in South East Queensland
- There is one common entry for all Translink route numbers which may be required. Further route numbers should be added to this entry. If the new route has different requirements such as date of document or access-date, an individual entry should be added for this route - this should be avoided where possible.
- QConnect route 891
- ferry routes in Brisbane
- CityCat, CityHopper, Kangaroo Point, Bulimba, New Farm Park
- maps
- Train Network, South East Busway Map, Northern Busway Map, Eastern Busway Map
If used in an external link, this template may be used without the surrounding reference tags.
If the service requested is not included in this template, the citation created will be in Translink bus format using the service requested as route number. Articles containing such citations are listed in Category:Pages using Queensland Timetables with unknown route (3) as a possible error.
