Use this template sparingly – this is the English wikipedia. It is better to use English transliteration of Arabic language words within prose, (supported by secondary sources in either case).

Usage

Type: {{quran verse|arabic=(ARABIC TEXT HERE)|english=(ENGLISH TRANSLATION HERE)|reference=(CHAPTER AND VERSE NUMBER ONLY) }}

Example

Entering this:

{{quran verse|arabic=ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ|english=This is the book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah.|reference=2:2}}

Will give:

ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ ‎

English: This is the book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah.
(Quran: 2:2)

Notice

• Do not add ayah sign at last verse.
• Do not add bismillah (basmala) in the beginning.
• Do not add "Quran:" to reference, it is inserted by the template.
• Use this template sparingly – this is the English wikipedia.
