- Checkuser request – code letter: No letter (meaning will be inserted here )
Usage

- Letter is the usual A - F required for a CheckUser request (see CheckUser criteria and letters),
- 2nd letter is an optional 2nd letter (or the word "No2ndLetter" if none), and
- Status is as directed by that page, one of:
- <Absent> or New -- initial request by a user
- Endorse or endorsed -- Case endorsed by a clerk as suitable for CheckUser attention
- Decline or declined -- declined by a clerk as unsuitable, or by a Checkuser upon review
- Self -- Case self-endorsed by a clerk or checkuser as suitable for CheckUser attention
- InProgress -- Case accepted by a Checkuser and is in the stage of active review.
- Checked -- has been accepted by a CheckUser and comments based upon technical evidence from the CheckUser tool are given.
- hold -- A case is waiting on more information (such as a code letter or more evidence) and should not be actioned on.

Categories
- Absent or "New" adds the case to Category:SPI requests for pre-CheckUser review
- Endorsement or Self-endorsement adds the case to Category:SPI cases awaiting a CheckUser.
This template will not appear in a category if it is on Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations itself or any /SPI/ process subpage, or on any case archive page. Unless grossly misused, it will only appear if transcluded on a case page.
