Usage

Use this template to add reporting marks to the lead of an article that has them. The format is simple: use {{reporting mark|CSXT}} or, if more than one exists, {{reporting mark|RI|ROCK}}. This template will show up to four reporting marks.

To suppress the automatic bolding of the mark, for example to use this template in a location other than the lead sentence of an article, use |bold=no.

To suppress the surrounding parentheses, use |parens=no. This is useful to avoid adjacent sets of parentheses; for example,

The Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad (P≤ reporting mark PLE) ...
