The date syntax is: {{Merge|any other arguments|date=July 2024}}, but if you leave the date off it will be added by a WP:BOT. ~~~

Usage

• Default arg 1 is a template name.
• Arg 2 is an article name.
• Arg diff is a url of a diff.
• Arg s to sign and date.
