Usage
editThis template uses inline CSS within a <span></span>
tag to specify fonts containing the symbol ꟾ (LATIN EPIGRAPHIC LETTER I LONGA: U+A7FE) and change text size to 73%. It may be used in articles, such as Latin phonology and orthography, where Latin words and letters are written in a style approximating Roman square capitals, the alphabet used in Latin inscriptions in the era of the Roman Republic and Roman Empire. It was created because the Unicode template does not ensure that the i longa displays correctly. Text must be placed in all caps; the template will convert them to roughly the height of small caps.
