When {{ToC}} or __TOC__ (with two underscores on either side of the word) is placed in the wikitext, a Table of Contents (ToC) is generated where that code appears.
These tables are automatically generated if the page has more than three headings – using this template forces a Table of Contents regardless of number of headings.
This template is identical to simply typing "__TOC__".
Limitations
editSince the Vector 2022 skin forces the table of contents into a sidebar or a pop-up menu, this template does not control the placement of the TOC in that skin. It will still cause a table to be created.
