This is a wild-card template created based on this Redirects for discussion thread, intended to intuitively adapt to various "use x" templates. It uses the {{#switch:}} parser function.

Usage

  • abc represents either mdy or dmy. The first parameter controls only the datevar template, but may be left blank.
  • def represents a country code from the table below for engvar. The country codes are based on the two-letter ISO country codes.
  • MM YYYY represents the full month and year, such as "January 2001".

For example, {{Use|mdy|in|date=January 2001}} returns {{Use mdy dates|date=January 2001}}{{Use Indian English|date=January 2001}}.
