This template adds articles to Category:Industrial design articles by importance.

Usage

edit

Simply add {{WikiProject Industrial design}} to an article's talk page at or near the top (generally, below any that are more specific, and any that relate to current AfD or similar issues, and any that relate to article milestones, such as Good Article status; but above less specific ones, such as projects relating to technology, computers, etc., more generally).

{{WikiProject Industrial design
|class =
|importance =
|auto =
|attention =
|needs-infobox =
|needs-image =
|listas =
|category =
}}
  • |class= The quality rating of the article. Options are FA, A, GA, B, C, Start, Stub, FL, List, Category, Disambig, Template, Image, Project, Portal or NA. If blank, this will default as Unassessed.
  • |importance= If defined, enables the standard importance scale (Top, High, Mid, Low or NA).
  • |auto= This parameter is for the use of bots. |auto=yes indicates that an article has been assessed as Stub-Class because it has one or more stub tags.
  • |attention= Answer yes if the page needs immediate attention, otherwise remove this line.
  • |needs-infobox= Answer yes if the article needs an infobox, otherwise remove this line. Remember that infoboxes are not suitable for all articles, and can overwhelm short articles.
  • |needs-image= Answer yes to request that an image of the subject be added to the article, otherwise remove this line.
  • |listas= This parameter, which is the equivalent of the DEFAULTSORT sortkey that should be placed on all biographical articles, is a sortkey for the article talk page (e.g. for Elvis Presley, |listas=Presley, Elvis, so that the talk page will show up in the P's and not the E's of the various assessment and administrative categories).
  • |category= Answer no if, and only if, a banner is being used for demonstration or testing purposes, to prevent unnecessary or undesirable categorization.
