Template documentation
Returns a summary containing six statistics about data in a pageviews file downloaded from the pageviews tool.
Usage
{{xviews/summary}}
{{xviews/summary|days=number}}
{{xviews/summary|Talk:ArticleName/pageviews}}
Parameters
|1=
– name of a Talk subpage containing page views data dumped from the tool (optional; default: subpage /pageviews of the current page)
|days=
– number of days (bars) displayed in the chart (optional; default: 75)
Description
The summary info emitted by the template:
- size – the number of date-stamped pageview statistics available in the pageviews file (typical: 92, i.e., three months' worth)
- age – age of the most recent statistic in the pageviews file, in days; if age exceeds the staleness constant (30) the graph is not displayed.
- days – the number of days displayed in the chart (may be less than size due to technical template limitations)
- min – the smallest page views statistic in the data set
- max – the largest page views statistic in the data set
- latest – the page views statistic for the most recent date available
All summary fields (except 'days') refer to characteristics of the pageviews file, regardless how many days are displayed in the chart.
