Template:2010-11 in Indonesian football → Template:2010–11 in Indonesian football – Proper naming convention has been to format as "2010–11" not "2010-11", uncontroversial move. Borgarde (talk) 06:19, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
Support: Use of the en dash is proper per MOS:DASH.Oppose: no need to rename since it's in template space. — Bility (talk) 20:52, 20 February 2012 (UTC)- Comment: I know MOS prefers endashes (for templates too?); but while typing, its much easier to type "2010-11" rather than "2010–11". The result of the move request was: Moved. Template names are not externally visible, so the wisdom of moves like this one might be questioned. See User talk:Jenks24#Indonesian football move. I hope we don't get too many of these moves in the future. Fixing up template names to observe all the niceties of style should be a low priority. Jenks24 has suggested that, instead of proposing moves like this in the future, you just create a redirect from one form of the daterange to the other. Redirects are cheap.
