Colors
editWhy should we use the 14th congress party colors instead of what these candidates are using in public? I don't think uniformity would serve its purpose in this article/template. Colors used in the 14th congress page are not even consistent with previous congresses. Mark 01:30, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
- We've been using light green for NP, light yellow for LP for articles starting from the elections and Congresses during the 1920s. During more recent elections and Congresses, we are using light blue for Lakas, dark blue for Kampi, orange for PMP and dark green for NPC. –Howard the Duck 02:27, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
- The history of these colors in Wikipedia started when I was adding colors for the different parties in List of Presidents of the Philippines. I forgot what the original colors were, but some one told me (I think it was User:Glenncando) to use green for NP and yellow for NP. Since people want paler colors I did follow that. Then when someone was editing the different Congress articles, someone used dark green for NPC, dark blue for Kampi, and so on. So that how we get into the present condition. –Howard the Duck 15:51, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

- If that is the case, let us just stick with the colors that we have for now until this issue is brought up again. -Mark 08:37, 8 December 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mark Malcampo (talk • contribs)
I'd have to ask KBL's colors. I read somewhere that their colors are/were actually blue, since red is the color of the communists, Marcos' biggest enemies not colored yellow. I dunno how I came up with red, maybe because Marcos used red in his campaigns. –Howard the Duck 19:15, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
