Is anybody able to look at 2013 NCAA Division I FCS football season#NCAA FCS Playoff bracket to see why Bethune-Cookman vs Coastal Carolina is duplicated next to Southeastern Louisiana (as well as Montana)? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 00:40, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks to Joeykai for fixing the template! GoingBatty (talk) 15:27, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
Another request - could someone please fix the bracket lines in the quarter finals and semi finals so they join the boxes just as nicely as the first & second round lines? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 22:16, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
- Anyone? GoingBatty (talk) 03:31, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
- Hey GB, since there is a lot of HTML5 compliance work to be done, I'm marking this as "-working" for now as it may take me a bit to fix. I'll ping you again to take a look when I'm done to see if it looks as you expect. — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 13:15, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
- Okay, so I've made a first pass through to clean up all deprecated and obsolete HTML/CSS code I can find. GB, how does it look to you now? Did that help fix the issue you wanted fixed? — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 13:40, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
- @Technical 13: When I look at Template:24TeamBracket or the article above, I don't see any of the lines between boxes anymore, so unfortunately it's now worse. :-( GoingBatty (talk) 13:46, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
- GB, are we back to where we were? Making any progress? I'll have to take a break for a few hours (Math class started 15 minutes ago and we have just been going over last exam). — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 14:10, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
- @Technical 13: I can see some lines now, but some are doubled and some are missing. You should be able to see it on Template:24TeamBracket. GoingBatty (talk) 14:13, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
- GB, I've made it look right in my browser, but I am seeing that there are a LOT of missing/malformed sized cells which may be causing an issue in other browsers. How does it look to you? I'm about to watch some TV and call it an early night as I have to get up early to travel to take my daughter back to the Dr.'s for a surgery in the morning. If it looks okay to you too, I'll not worry about the empty cells until tomorrow night when I get home. :) — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 22:03, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
- @Technical 13: Using Firefox 33.1 and Internet Explorer 8, I see that many of the single bracket lines are now doubled. What are you seeing? GoingBatty (talk) 18:12, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

Based on the preexisting template, GB, all of the lines except for the ones connecting the teams going to semi-finalas and finals are suppose to be double lines. I probably could make them all single lines, but I would need to do that in the sandbox as it would require an almost complete recoding of the template to accomplish correctly. I can probably do this over the weekend or next week if you really think it needs it. — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 21:32, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- @Technical 13: The December 2013 version of the template had all single lines. I don't understand the benefit of having two different types of lines, or where the rules would be defined on when to use what lint types. I spot checked some of the other tournament bracket templates, and didn't see any others with double lines. Thanks for your continued help with this! GoingBatty (talk) 03:42, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
- GB, I can see how it has an appearance of having single lines. If you look closely, you'll see that some of the lines are much darker/thicker than other lines, that is because they are actually double lines that are back to back. I'll see if I can't get rid of the spaces between the cells and make that happen again. It's 11PM now where I am, so maybe tomorrow. :) — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 03:49, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
- @Technical 13: Could you please finish the work on this, or hand it off to someone else? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 18:08, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry about that GB, I got distracted by some other projects. That look better now? if so, please change {{Help me-working}} to {{Help me-helped}} above. — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 18:41, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
- @Technical 13: Yes, that's much better! I don't understand why some of the lines are darker than others. Also, the horizontal lines entering the left side of the Semifinals and Finals boxes are still missing. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 19:18, 7 December 2014 (UTC)

- it's really more trouble than it's worth to lighten those lines and add the little lips. I'll reactivate the helpme in case someone else wants to give it a go though. Good luck. — {{U|Technical 13}} (e • t • c) 02:49, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
- Should work now, though I cheated by not "doubling" all borders as both a left and a right border. That might cause some issues, but for me it looks ok. Some lines were darker because the attempted fix for the lack of doubling was that some lines were just left borders of a 2px width, which to me ended up displayed more broadly than others. - @Huon: Confirmed that it looks good on a couple of articles - thanks so much! GoingBatty (talk) 04:19, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
