Elections and wards
editCan I suggest two things?
- Wikilink the relevant election if applicable:
- Wikilink the relevant ward
I appreciate that most wards don't have an article yet. That shouldn't stop us from linking to it and for the time being, we could set up redirects. Here's my take:
- Albany ward
- Albert-Eden-Roskill ward
- Franklin ward
- Howick ward
- Manukau ward
- Manurewa-Papakura ward
- Maungakiekie-Tāmaki ward
- North Shore ward
- Orākei ward
- Rodney ward
- Waitākere ward
- Waitematā and Gulf ward
- Whau ward
Any thoughts? Schwede66 00:25, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
- Sounds good, we might as well stay as close to how the parlbox's are done as possible. Mattlore (talk) 01:54, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
- I further suggest that we remove the automatic linking from the affiliation parameter, and wikilink manually when there is actually something to link to. Most members have a fancy name for their ticket and they will never be notable, so there isn't any point creating automatic redlinks. Schwede66 18:36, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, I agree. And default the colouring to grey/independent. Will add it to my to-do list! Mattlore (talk) 22:16, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
