Take a look

edit

I am seeing this table wrongly placed, I dunno if this is the right place, but someone should take a look and fix it

Change to pipelines?

edit

Instead of {Link} {Link2}, do Link | Link2? It seems to be the de facto standard. Other templates that do braces: Template:NSAIDs, Template:Opioids, and probably others.

Tetrahydrocannabinol

edit

Why is Tetrahydrocannabinol listed here? The linked-to article does not mention analgesic properties. --Macrakis 16:26, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I put it there a year ago. Cannabis was once commonly used as an analgesic (for example Queen Victoria used it for menstrual pain), and cannabinoids are now approved in Canada for controlling pain in multiple sclerosis. It has also been recommended for fibromyalgia. I have now edited the tetrahydrocannabinol article to mention the analgesic effect. See also the articles medical cannabis and cannabinoids. Merge Template:Opioids here?

edit

I just left a comment on the Template:Opioids talk page, and wanted to echo it here. I think it should be merged into this template. Template:Opioids doesn't seem to be used much (anymore?) and is less complete than the list of opioids here anyway. --Galaxiaad 00:31, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Too many opioids listed

edit

There's a ton of opioids listed here that shouldn't. Half these aren't used medically and some might be duplicates. The list should be limited to opioids used medically or recreationally. Loperamide is not even an opioid (only a derivative of one). I'll go through them in a few days and remove anything that doesn't belong. 1.1.1 21:07, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Should tilidine be listed?

edit

Tilidine isn't much used in english speaking countries (save for Australia and South Africa, perhaps), but e.g. in Germany and other european lands, it is used very often, more so than e.g. oxycodone. Objections against listing tilidine in this template..?--84.163.91.195 (talk) 04:56, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

None? Okay, I'm listing tilidine here.--84.163.115.149 (talk) 00:44, 14 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Changed a joke?

edit

For whatever reason in the upper opiates section there was a "TheBaconedgar" listed. It links to Dihydrocodeineone. That was not on the list, so I corrected the name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mechem (talkcontribs) 13:39, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
