Template talk:Anonblock hard
Contested deletion
editExactly why is this a misrepresentation of policy? And why did an IP tag it? White Arabian Filly Neigh 19:44, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
- I have no idea, but there's something else I'm wondering about – what does this part of the template mean:
If you are an registered editor, and would like to be unblocked
? "Un registered user"? Is that "a registered user" or a "an unregistered user"? – Uanfala (talk) 20:06, 13 November 2016 (UTC)- An IP tagged it because they don't like it as presently worded. Just look at the revision history, and see also this thread. --Redrose64 (talk) 00:22, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
Template-protected edit request on 3 June 2022 - Visual editor ease of use

Currently, if the example of how to use the unblock template is copied and pasted using the visual editor, it doesnt correctly substitute and use the template. Changing to to a plain version of {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
(<code><nowiki>{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}</nowiki></code>
) instead of the existing tlx implementation would fix this. See this conversation for further details. Aidan9382 (talk) 18:36, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
IP block exemption text add request

Please implement my changes in the template sandbox. The reason is if an IP address is hard blocked logged in users should be able to request IP block exemption. Aasim - Herrscher of Wikis ❄️ 21:39, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- Not done for now: Is there a consensus discussion that led to this edit request? If so, please link to it. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:40, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- Not at the moment, is this change a bit controversial? There have only ever been a couple or so edit requests on this page and this template is not used so much on talk pages (though I do not know how many active blocks use this at the moment). I have thought about potentially merging this template with Template:Anonblock but I decided against a nomination because I do not want to affect dozens upon dozens of blocks that use this specific template.
