This template was considered for deletion on 2017 July 19. The result of the discussion was "no consensus".
The extra mess was added back in, and I deleted it. There are other templates for that; this is used on pages like help:IPA where we don't want a hundred links to (info). kwami (talk) 22:22, 10 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
The info links are needed because at least some of the audio links are GFDL. Attribution/source information and a GFDL dedication must be linked. --Kjoonlee07:51, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I thought I had made myself clear by saying "Must provide info link if used with GFDL audio samples" in my edit summary. :( --Kjoonlee07:52, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'm not very familiar with the word rescind, but if you mean revocation or annulment, that would be impossible. (Unless the GFDL dedication itself was a copyvio.) --Kjoonlee08:19, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I see you reinstated the messy info links. They do not give any useful information to the reader. Why do you insist on putting them in? −Woodstone (talk)
For legal reasons. Most audio files are released to the public under the GNU FDL (GFDL) which legally require attribution to the authors. *You* haven't given me a reason on why you can ignore copyright law. --Kjoonlee14:53, 28 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
