Transport companies 'based' in England?

Its quite silly that two of the biggest companies operating in England are omitted from this just because happen to have their HQ's in Scotland.

It shows a real lack of understanding about how people use this site and the info they are looking for. Its pedantry over common sense.

Should there be a map?

I removed the map as in my opinion it serves no useful purpose as it conveys nothing and only serves to create a lot of whitespace. Dpmuk (talk) 13:57, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Megabus

I have just removed it again. The template is for bus companies based in England, and when I removed Megabus the first time, I made it quite clear they are Scottish, so not based in England. Just removing "based in" from the title is a shortcut and won't help. To reflect this, I have removed the other companies not based in England ComfortDelGro Corporation (Singaporean) and Transdev (French).

If you want to add the companies that run in England, then feel free to do it. Just remember if you want to add Megabus, then Stagecoach, First, Transdev, ComfortDelGro, Veolia etc. all have to be added...!

You may want to view Category:United Kingdom bus company templates, and remember that the templates of which all display "Megabus" under their "National" sections. (Example: Template:Bus companies in South West England) I hope you can see why I have for the moment reverted your edit. Arriva436^talk 14:06, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
