The figures for Saint Louis through Stevens counties are wrong, likely due to the differences in alphabetization between the state and wiki listings (St. Louis v. Saint Louis county). Kablammo (talk) 20:37, 3 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
I have removed incorrect numbers from these counties. I have not checked the other numbers, nor the other counties. Kablammo (talk) 01:56, 4 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Figures for those counties have been added, and there are edits to other counties updating the numbers. But those, and all of the rest, become obsolete every day, when new figures are released. To keep this article accurate, the figures for each county would have to be updated daily, corrected when MDH corrects them, and do the math for the column showing cases per 100,000. The failure to do all that, every day, means that this article is inaccurate and unreliable.
So what is the purpose of this article? Accurate figures are available at 11:00 am CDT every day on the Minnesota Department of Health's website at https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/situation.html . It is clear that no one is maintaining our article on a daily basis-- and why would they, when the DHS website is the source for our numbers, is authoritative, and is available to all?
My own preference is to delete this page. If not, then the warning I added, disputing the accuracy of the figures, will remain, as this article has never been accurate. Kablammo (talk) 13:19, 15 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Kablammo: I've updated the figures (as of May 17) and think the numbers are accurate for now. I like that the table is sortable, but if this isn't updated regularly it is worse than useless. I support deletion. gobonobo+c09:56, 18 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
