WikiProject COVID-19
editI've created WikiProject COVID-19 as a temporary or permanent WikiProject and invite editors to use this space for discussing ways to improve coverage of the ongoing 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. Please bring your ideas to the project/talk page. Stay safe, --Another Believer (Talk) 18:08, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
Sourcing issues
editI have suspicions that not all those Notes pass verification against the sources provided. I think it would be best if we just merge the citations into the note so that we can verify which is and is not in the source. You've gone incognito (talk ⋅ contribs) 09:54, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
Question: Where can we find raw data?
editWhere can I view the original list of patients' information from DOH? Just want to help in information updated Ash CA (talk) 05:34, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
Suggestion
editUse text and CSS instead of css only for "Had recent travel history abroad" and "Status" for screen reader purposes.
screen readers suddenly stopped reading and I am reading those entries manually instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.211.66.128 (talk) 18:59, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
Not that techy but I also found that there's something going on with that, as I can't see it anymore during Visual Edit. Aesyeo (talk) 13:38, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
Too long for a "Summary"
editI think it's time to summarise this template, as suggested by Hariboneagle927 back then? We currently have one thousand and seventy-five (1075) cases. This is too long for a summary in my own opinion. —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 13:53, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, I think it would be better if we just summarize the table by location, and another one for a breakdown by hospital (or we can fuse the two). And/Or we can keep the table and limit only the data up to the last bulletin where data given are complete.--AR E N Z O Y 1 6A•t a l k• 09:23, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Renzoy16: We can use this template for statistics Template:2019–20 coronavirus pandemic data/Philippines medical cases, but we still need help! —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 09:46, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- I created this database for easier computation and sorting. —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 09:47, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- I was thinking of this. And I think we have to reorganize the article in general. --AR E N Z O Y 1 6A•t a l k• 09:59, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- I think we can add hospitalisations here too. —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 10:08, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- This idea is actually good, but I think we should make them separate. This one for the summary and this one for the statistics and graphs. —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 10:14, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- I have condensed the cases table—fusing the notes and references into one (and placed them in the notelist). Added a specific column for residence; changed history of travel abroad to type of transmission.--AR E N Z O Y 1 6A•t a l k• 12:50, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- May I call the attention of Atikono1? —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 15:35, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- Yes? Anything I could help HueMan1? —Atikono1 (talk • contributions) 00:01, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Atikono1: Thank you for keeping this template updated and organised but at its current state, it is incredibly big, causing the main page to slow down, so Renzoy16 decided to make a simplified version of this template. I just wanna inform you. You can view his progress here. You can also help on updating this template if you have some free time. Thanks! —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 17:21, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- Noted. I will help updating your new template @HueMan1:. Do we need to update the old template or just leave it? Please advise. —Atikono1 (talk • contributions) 14:30, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Renzoy16 and Hariboneagle927: What should we do for the mean time? —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 07:08, 30 March 2020 (UTC)

Reuse
edit@Renzoy16: So for the drastic change I made a while ago, I was just thinking that maybe we should use this template again? —hueman1 (talk • contributions) 12:44, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- Yes we can. :) --AR E N Z O Y 1 6A•t a l k• 09:05, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
Repeated footnotes
editWhy are footnotes in this template repeated again and again, each with a new anchor name? "Unknown source of infection" appears a few dozen times, for example. Why wouldn't it should only appear once, reused for each instance? -- Mikeblas (talk) 09:35, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
